Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed counselor in Ohio, and I spend my days as a school-based therapist working with teens. I bring that same steady, practical approach to my private practice, where I work with teens and adults managing anxiety, depression, anger, and everyday stress. I offer a calm, supportive space to sort through what’s hard, build practical tools, and find meaningful ways to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My sessions are practical and collaborative. Rather than just talking about what’s wrong, I help clients take a closer look at the thoughts that may be contributing to their stress or low mood and explore whether those thoughts are actually true. I believe change happens one small, doable step at a time, so I meet clients where they are rather than pushing an agenda. My goal is to help you find your own reasons for moving forward and develop tools that feel realistic for your life.

Having spent years working with teenagers in a school setting, I’m especially comfortable meeting younger clients on their level. I also enjoy working with adults navigating anxiety, family conflict, grief, or the aftermath of trauma.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll focus on getting the full picture: what’s been going on, what you’ve already tried, and what you’d like to be different. From there, we’ll build our sessions around concrete skills you can use between appointments, rather than simply talking through what’s difficult. As we work together, my goal is to help you feel steadier and more in control, while creating a plan that can adjust as your needs and life circumstances change.
