Great to meet you!

You may be the person everyone depends on while privately feeling exhausted, anxious, angry, or completely overwhelmed. Maybe your mind never slows down, ADHD makes everyday responsibilities feel harder than they should, or something you've been through still affects how you react, trust people, or feel about yourself. You may be a mother who takes care of everyone but herself, a man who's spent years believing he should handle everything alone, or someone managing a chronic condition while trying to keep the rest of life together. I work with adults who are tired of simply pushing through and want to understand what's really behind the stress, anger, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion they're experiencing. You can expect me to be compassionate but also honest and direct when needed. My goal is to help you feel more in control of your emotions, confident in your decisions, and able to prioritize your own needs without guilt.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should help you understand why certain experiences still have so much power over how you think, feel, and react today. If trauma has left you constantly on guard, blaming yourself for what happened, questioning your decisions, or avoiding situations that remind you of the past, we'll work on challenging those beliefs and separating what happened to you from how you see yourself now. We'll also focus on practical changes, whether that's slowing down before anger turns into an argument, managing an overwhelming week without shutting down, or setting boundaries without feeling selfish afterward. I won't just tell you what you want to hear, but you'll never be judged for what you share with me. The goal is to help you stop living in reaction to what you've been through and start making choices based on the life you want now.

What you can expect from me

You don't need to walk into our first session ready to tell me your entire life story. We'll start with what's happening right now, whether you're constantly stressed, struggling to focus, having difficulty controlling your emotions, dealing with painful memories, or simply tired of feeling like you're carrying too much. I'll ask questions to understand what's affecting your everyday life, what you've already tried, and what you would genuinely like to change. You decide how much you're comfortable sharing, especially when it comes to trauma or painful experiences. We'll identify a few priorities together rather than trying to fix everything at once. My goal is for you to leave feeling understood and with a clear sense of where we can start.
