Great to meet you!

I believe that everyone has the potential to transform their life and reach their full potential. As an experienced therapist with over 11 years in various roles in the mental health field, I am here to help you on your journey towards personal growth and fulfillment. I work mostly with adults and specialize in helping clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, trauma, work stressors, relationship issues, and life transitions. I also work with a limited number of adolescent clients who identify within the LGBTQIA+ community and are struggling with concerns related to gender identity, transitioning, sexual orientation, and more in addition to mental health concerns. My collaborative and compassionate approach ensures that you feel heard, understood, and supported every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and holistic, incorporating a variety of evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness practices.

What you can expect from me

The first session is typically informal and a "get to know each other" session. I will ask questions related to history/background of mental health challenges, medical health challenges, social and family backgrounds, socioeconomic issues, and more. I open to clients asking questions of me and provide some information on my background as well. Some clients find that they can open up relatively quickly, while others take time and need to build the relationship first before trusting and divulging more intense feelings and issues. I am flexible and believe in collaborating and meeting the client where they are in each session.
