Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals across the lifespan. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in 2018, followed by a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Maryville University in 2023. I also hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from La Sierra University, which has helped shape my holistic and patient-centered approach to care.

I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, and mood regulation difficulties, with an emphasis on promoting emotional balance, resilience, and overall well-being. My practice integrates both psychopharmacology and therapeutic interventions, allowing me to tailor treatment plans that meet each patient’s unique needs.

I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to take an active role in their healing journey. My goal is to help each person achieve mental wellness and improved quality of life through education, empathy, and evidence-based care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe that effective mental health care starts with truly listening to my patients and understanding their unique experiences, strengths, and challenges. I work together with each client to develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, therapy techniques, and lifestyle support.

I combine a holistic and evidence-based approach, drawing on my background in both nursing and counseling psychology to address not just symptoms, but the whole person mind, body, and environment. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to actively participate in their healing journey.

I have a particular focus on treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, and mood regulation difficulties, helping clients build emotional resilience and develop practical coping tools to manage daily stressors.

What you can expect from me

Patients can expect open communication, education about their treatment options, and consistent support as we work together toward improved stability, clarity, and wellness. During our first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand your story. We’ll talk about your current concerns, symptoms, personal goals, and any previous mental health treatment you may have received. I’ll also review your medical and medication history to help guide an individualized care plan.

This initial visit is a collaborative conversation, not a test or interrogation it’s your opportunity to share what’s been working, what hasn’t, and what you hope to achieve through care. Together, we’ll begin to identify patterns, set realistic goals, and explore treatment options that feel right for you.

By the end of our session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of the next steps in your care plan and what our ongoing work together will look like. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about your path toward wellness.
