Great to meet you!

With over a decade in the mental health field, I have worked with people of all ages struggling with various life transitions across all phases of life. Most people I see struggle with mood and/or behavioral challenges, and I specialize in working with people that have long-term difficulties, such as neurodivergence or chronic pain. My background includes working in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and community mental health, where I have created and ran specialized programs for the primary mental health needs of any given population.

My approach to therapy

I provide treatment using an integration of psychodynamic interpretation and evidence-based theory, such as ACT, CBT, and/or DBT. I believe every client has different needs, so I aim to tailor therapeutic care to each individual. My style tends to be inquisitive at first to better understand my clients and their presenting problems, then I utilize a client-centered, strengths-based approach to create a safe space for each client. My approach has helped hundreds of patients suffering from mood disorders, chronic conditions, neurodivergence, and more.

What you can expect from me

During your first session after intake, I will give you time to get comfortable and let you start at your own pace. Beginning therapy can be extremely hard, whether this is your first time or your tenth time in therapy, so it is extremely important to me that you to get the most out of each session, whether you needs skills to manage your symptoms or you want someone who will listen, hear, and see you as you are. I believe that therapy is what you put into it, so we will collaborate together on your treatment goals. Common goals include symptom management, increased awareness of behavioral patterns, processing of life events, and skill learning. It all depends on what YOU want to work on.
