Great to meet you!

With over 24 years of experience in healthcare, I have worked in a variety of settings including case management, hospital care, correctional health, and hospice. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing from Chamberlain University and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Galen College of Nursing. My interest in psychiatric nursing stems from a deep appreciation for human resilience and the power of mental health support in improving lives. I am passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care to diverse and underserved populations. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, my goal is to empower individuals with the tools and education needed to enhance their well-being and achieve lasting emotional balance. I work with people of all ages and at all stages in life.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel truly heard and supported. My approach focuses on listening and understanding your story to help you find balance and healing through evidence-based, personalized care. As a bilingual (Spanish-English) provider, I’m passionate about supporting diverse communities. Together, we’ll work toward growth, resilience, and a lasting well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, respectful, and judgment-free environment focused on understanding their unique experiences and goals. I take time to listen carefully and gather a comprehensive history to better understand the challenges they’re facing. Together, we’ll discuss current concerns, mental health history, and any previous treatments to create a personalized care plan. My approach is collaborative and education-focused, empowering clients with knowledge and practical strategies to support their well-being. Clients can expect to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and with a clear sense of the next steps in their care.
