Great to meet you!

I am 57 years old. I am a mother of 5 adult men. I have been married 34 years. I have been involved in lay ministry all my adult life. I started my counseling journey at age 48 and now have completed my Master of Arts in Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I am a licensed professional counselor using clinical counseling from a Biblical Worldview. I have been counseling professionally since May of 2021. My personal journey of healing involved resolving childhood trauma and the somatic symptoms that were connected to that trauma.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I come at issues from the standpoint that awareness opens the door to growth. If the truth about an issue can be identified then freedom and growth will follow. My focus is on the whole person, Mind, Body, Emotions and Soul.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect that the issues that they are approaching will be met with grace and truth. Clients can expect to examine the beliefs that they have derived based on their life events to be investigated and discussed while looking for truth and meaning.
