Great to meet you!

I am an LCSW who focuses on helping individual adults (18+) heal from relational traumas:childhood abuse such as physical, emotional, verbal, sexual and/or neglect; growing up with a parent who had their own struggles; enmeshment; attachment wounding, bullying, etc. Often, these experiences lead to feelings of depression, anxiety, low self esteem, overwhelming emotions, problematic patterns in relationships, and negative beliefs about yourself and others.

My approach to therapy

My approach is to help you heal trauma, relational traumas, self esteem issues, problems with big emotions or self beliefs like "I'm not good enough" or "I'm too much". I use an integrative approach including EMDR, Relational EMDR, and Internal Family Systems. We will work together to help you come into the fullness of who you are now and not what happened to you.

What you can expect from me

The first few therapy sessions might feel awkward. During this time, I will gather information from you so that I can connect the dots and begin to understand what you want from therapy. This can feel like I'm asking a ton of questions! I hope you take away that you are in a safe, warm, non-judgmental space that builds trust and that we are developing a working alliance that leads to your desired outcome. I welcome open communication from you through all phases of treatment.
