Great to meet you!

My style is warm, practical, and evidence‐based. I specialize in supporting adults preparing for or recovering from bariatric weight loss surgery. I provide pre‐ and post‐surgical counseling and complete the required mental‐health clearance assessments for individuals pursuing bariatric procedures.

I also work with disordered eating and binge eating disorder, helping clients understand their relationship with food and build sustainable, compassionate habits that support long‐term health.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, practical, and grounded in CBT‐based strategies. I specialize in supporting adults preparing for or recovering from bariatric surgery, offering both pre‐ and post‐surgical counseling as well as the required mental‐health clearance assessments. I also work with individuals experiencing disordered eating and binge eating disorder, helping clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and develop a more compassionate relationship with food and their bodies. My goal is to provide a supportive, structured space where clients can make meaningful, sustainable changes that align with their health and life goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk about your health history, your goals, and where you are in your weight‐loss or bariatric surgery journey. I’ll ask about your relationship with food, past attempts at weight loss, and any emotional or behavioral patterns that may be affecting your progress. If you’re pursuing bariatric surgery, we’ll review the requirements together and begin the mental‐health assessment process in a supportive, structured way.

You’ll leave the session with a clearer understanding of what to expect, what steps come next, and how we can work together to support your long‐term success before and after surgery.
