Great to meet you!

I work with women and teen girls navigating anxiety, depression, and life's harder transitions — including pregnancy, postpartum, fertility, and loss, as well as the everyday weight of stress, grief, relationship strain, and identity shifts. I also see a limited number of adolescent girls. Before private practice, I spent 15 years at Four Winds Hospital, including serving as Inpatient Program Director and Director of Partial Hospitalization, working closely with individuals navigating acute mental health needs. That background shapes the depth and steadiness I bring to sessions today. I'm licensed in both New York and Connecticut.

My approach to therapy

I meet clients where they actually are, not where they think they should be. My style is warm but direct — I won't let you pretend you're fine when you're not, and I won't fill sessions with vague reassurance either. I draw on DBT and collaborative, practical problem-solving so sessions build real skills, not just talk.

What you can expect from me

A conversation, not an interrogation. I want to understand what's actually going on for you and what you're hoping changes — we'll talk through your history, what's bringing you in now, and what a realistic path forward looks like. You'll leave with a sense of whether this is a fit, and a clear idea of what working together would look like.
