Great to meet you!

My background in both education and counseling allows me to support clients with a blend of clinical insight, trauma‐informed care, and practical skill‐building. I currently serve as a facilitator with the Peace and Justice Institute and work as a contract therapist with Families First of Florida. I also have my own private practice named Here and Now Counseling Center. My clinical approach is grounded in compassion, cultural responsiveness, and evidence‐based practices tailored to each client’s needs.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is trauma‐sensitive and grounded in life‐span development and multicultural awareness. I work from the belief that our lived experiences shape how we move through the world, and healing happens when we feel seen, safe, and understood.

I have a personal and professional connection to ADHD, codependency, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), which allows me to approach these areas with empathy, insight, and practical strategies. I strive to create a space where clients can explore their stories, build confidence, and develop tools that support long‐term emotional wellness.

What you can expect from me

From the very first session, my priority is that you feel heard, understood, and supported. I offer a therapeutic space where you can explore your story at your own pace—keeping what feels true to you while deepening self‐acceptance and self‐compassion.

My work centers on helping you strengthen your relationships, navigate life transitions, and find balance across work, school, and home. Therapy takes time, and meaningful change often begins with discomfort. Together, we will gently explore the softer, more vulnerable parts of your emotions and make sense of your story in a way that honors your lived experience.

My heart is aligned with individuals and communities who have felt overlooked or set aside. In our work together, you will have a place where your voice matters and your healing is supported every step of the way.
