Great to meet you!

I graduated from UCF in 2002 with a BA in Psychology. I was an educator for 20 years before graduating from Rollins College with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling in 2021. I am a facilitator with the Peace and Justice Institute, and a contract therapist at Central Florida Behavioral Hospital and with Families First of Florida.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is trauma-sensitive with roots in life span development and multiculturalism. ADHD, codependency, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) are areas of focus that I am personally connected.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients are nurtured in a therapeutic environment to process the story they want to keep while deepening self-acceptance and self-love. I want to help you thrive in interpersonal relationships while learning how to manage work/ school/ life balance.

Therapy is work and change takes time. Adjusting to life may bring pain and with pain comes change. Together, we will unlock and sift through the softer sides of your emotions while unlocking your story the way you want to tell it. My heart is aligned with all communities who feel set aside.
