I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in Internal Family Systems, a therapeutic approach for individuals that enables a person to interact directly with their inner world and heal the parts of themselves that have been wounded or burdened. I came to counseling after professional experience as an Army Officer and then in high tech recruiting. This work feels like a vocation to me; I feel privileged to be a partner and guide for my clients on their journey.
My approach is compassionate, connecting, and holistic; I endeavor to meet my clients, and their inner systems, where they’re at. My primary modality is Internal Family Systems and my work is informed by Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, Attachment theory, cognitive therapies, and Non-violent Communication.
My experience is that knowing oneself is a superpower and a path for more joy, love, and authenticity in life.
Clients can expect to experience positive internal shifts, re-connections with parts of themselves, and an ability to meet parts as they come up with curiosity, compassion, and courage. This enables changes in old thought patterns, feelings, and behaviors to ones that are more in-line with who you want to be.
