Great to meet you!

I like people. I want people to see the value in themselves and others. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience as a psychotherapist, clinical social worker, family court expert, and education advocate. My experience allows me to identify and therapeutically process subtleties, complexities, and inconsistencies in an individual's presentation, without judgment. We are human, and what life gives us, whether through biology or social circumstances, can be extremely challenging. No problem is too big or too small to be overwhelming or insignificant.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it is grounded in trust, honesty, and a genuine partnership. I do not use a one-size-fits-all approach; I work to understand each person fully and help them make meaningful, reality-based change. Clients can expect me to be respectful, nonjudgmental, thorough, and concerned.

What you can expect from me

The first session focuses on understanding what brings you in and seeing the larger picture of your life and concerns. I will ask about your current struggles, relevant history, relationships, strengths, and what you hope will change. My goal is to understand you clearly, begin building trust, and identify a thoughtful direction for treatment. By the end of the session, you should have a good sense of how I work and whether I am the right fit for you.
