Great to meet you!

I am a licensed Clinical and School Psychologist (PhD) with 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through a variety of life's challenges. My work spans clinical, educational, and therapeutic settings, giving me a deep understanding of how emotional well-being intersects with learning, relationships, and daily functioning across the life-span. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with integration of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and solution-focused strategies. I work with children, adolescents, and adults on concerns including anxiety and stress management, depression and mood difficulties, life transitions and adjustments, emotion regulation and coping skills, behavioral and school related concerns, parenting support and guidance, and executive functioning skills.

My approach to therapy

Clients often describe my style as warm, patient, and collaborative. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. I tailor therapy to each individual's needs, strengths, and goals, and I value a thoughtful balance between structure and flexibility in our work. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, capable, and aligned with what matters most to them.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable and collaborative working relationship. We will spend time talking about what brought you into therapy, your current concerns, and what you are hoping to gain from our work together. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and any past therapy or strategies that have been helpful (or not helpful) to you. While our first session is primarily about understanding you, many clients leave with initial insights, coping strategies, or practical tools they can begin to use right away. Above all, my goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and supported from the very first session.
