Great to meet you!

Difficult experiences in our lives can bring up feelings of anxiety, depression, or lack of direction. I aim to help you work through these issues and identify inner strengths to be a happier and healthier version of you.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I approach psychotherapy from a place of warmth, empathy and acceptance. With compassion and honesty, I make sure my treatment approach is unique for each individual I work with. My specialization as a therapist, researcher and educator has been in loss and complicated grief, as well as with those who are experiencing serious illness.

What you can expect from our first session

I strive to provide a warm and safe space where my patients can feel comfortable sharing what they want to, at their own pace, without fear of judgment. Our time in therapy will involve working collaboratively to find your path towards healing and growth. Know that therapy with me will integrate my expertise along with acceptance, compassion, and a sense of humor.
