Specializes in

Depression, PTSD, Stress, and Trauma

Great to meet you!

I specialize in trauma, PTSD, intimate partner violence and managing stress. I received a Master of Science in Social Work degree with clinical emphasis from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012. I worked as a social worker and therapist at the Department of Veterans Affairs for 11 years, so have excellent training and experience as a clinician.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe in a collaboration with clients to design a treatment plan that is individualized and flexible. I also believe in the connection between mind and body, and can incorporate mindfulness, breathing and relaxation exercises and other somatic techniques into therapy sessions. I also have training and certifications in evidence-based therapies for trauma and intimate partner violence.

What you can expect from our first session

It is important to me to be a safe, collaborative, nonjudgmental therapist. I have seen many clients over the years see a decrease in trauma-related symptoms and an increase in confidence and contentment. I have had clients go from feeling helpless to living their lives much more the way they envision.
