Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am Dr. Suzanne Switzer, a licensed psychologist in Colorado with more than 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families across a wide range of mental health settings. I currently devote most of my professional time to administering psychological evaluations. My background includes work in residential programs, therapeutic centers, and community‐based services. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to providing highly specialized, certified care tailored to the unique needs of my clients. My practice offers comprehensive counseling and consultation services for children, adolescents, and adults. I operate on the fundamental belief that everyone deserves compassion, respect, and understanding. Recognizing that every individual’s journey is unique, my professional commitment is to ensure that clients from all backgrounds feel truly heard, valued, and supported. Whether you require clinical guidance, therapeutic support, or are simply looking for a place to start, I would be honored to partner with you.

My approach to therapy

I provide supportive, person-centered counseling that helps individuals navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, and personal growth. Grounded in an interpersonal and strength-based approach, my work emphasizes connection, collaboration, and authentic therapeutic relationships while highlighting your inherent resilience. I meet clients exactly where they are, honoring their lived experiences and tailoring sessions to their pace, comfort, and goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simply an opportunity for us to get to know one another. It is a dedicated space for me to hear where you are currently at, what you are experiencing, and what you hope to gain from your therapy. There is no pressure to have everything figured out, and there are absolutely no "right answers." We will work entirely at your own pace, sharing only what you feel comfortable sharing. Once we have a sense of your goals, we will collaborate to create a practical game plan for our work together. My priority is to ensure you feel safe, heard, and in control of your therapeutic journey from day one
