Great to meet you!

My path into psychiatry grew out of a love for listening to people’s unique stories and a deep curiosity about what shapes how we think, feel, and move through the world. Above all, I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported—and ultimately feel more hopeful about stepping into the best version of yourself. I specialize in guiding young children through mood and behavioral challenges, as well as helping teens and adults navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, psychosis, substance use, sleep difficulties, and ADHD.

My approach to therapy

I provide thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults, grounded in open communication and a genuine respect for each person’s unique story and goals. In my work with adults, I offer a supportive space to work through challenges like past trauma, relationship stress, or ongoing anxiety and mood struggles that affect daily life, work, and personal well-being. For children and teens, I partner closely with parents, therapists, pediatricians, and schools to make sure care is seamless both at home and in the classroom. Because no two journeys are the same, my goal is to break down medical information into clear, manageable steps while offering a safe, welcoming environment where you feel fully heard, respected, and empowered.

What you can expect from me

Think of our first visit as a welcoming, low-pressure conversation for us to get to know one another. We will talk through what brings you in, what life looks like right now, and what you hope to achieve, using these early conversations to lay the foundation for a partnership built on trust and good understanding of your goals. For children and teens, we’ll balance time spent together as a family with one-on-one time so your child can settle in at their own comfortable pace. Before you leave, we’ll talk through my initial thoughts and explore options together—whether that involves therapy, parent guidance, daily lifestyle habits, or medication—so we can decide as a team on a path forward that feels right for you.
