Great to meet you!

I hold the conviction that humans are natural problem solvers. The successful resolution of issues, however, depends on three core ingredients: sufficient information, capacity, and relevant skills (motivation tends to emerge as we progress). I often hear people say they know what to do but struggle to implement those solutions effectively, for reasons that remain unclear to them. Therapy is not about providing the answers. Instead, it’s about collaborative exploration of the challenges you face. Fundamentally, the process is designed to refine your existing ability to create personalized strategies for addressing life's issues.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach incorporates a variety of modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Psychodynamic treatment. While each type of treatment involves different modalities for understanding a problem, all of them are based on a foundation of building an emotionally safe relationship to foster insight and awareness.

What you can expect from me

I like to describe my therapeutic stance as being an editor of the story you’re writing — they’re your words and it’s your story, but one can get lost in how to be an effective storyteller. A good editor serves as a guide to help you, the author, produce your best work.
