Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 2 years of clinical experience. I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and have specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I have experience working in both nonprofit and private practice settings, supporting clients across a wide range of mental health and relational concerns.

I specialize in working with individuals and couples experiencing borderline personality disorder (BPD), anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I work with adolescents and adults and aim to create a supportive space where clients feel both understood and empowered to make meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and personalized, drawing from humanistic, gestalt, CBT, DBT, existential, and narrative therapy modalities. I value unconditional positive regard, autonomy, and transparency in the therapeutic process. I believe clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to collaborate with them in building insight, skills, and emotional resilience.

I also encourage open communication and client feedback, as I see therapy as a shared process that should feel safe, honest, and adaptable to each person’s needs.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, I complete a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment and take time to understand your goals, concerns, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We also discuss questions you may have about the process and what working together will look like.

From there, we determine session frequency and begin exploring relevant aspects of your history in more depth.

As therapy progresses, we shift toward a more future-focused approach, working together to build practical tools and long-term strategies aligned with your goals.
