Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist in Montana with extensive experience supporting clients through life's most challenging transition and struggles. I work with clients across the lifespan, bringing particular sensitivity to the concerns of older adults and those navigating midlife transitions. My practice focuses on helping individual heal from trauma, manage anxiety and depressions, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I specialize addressing isolation, loneliness self-esteem concerns, and communication difficulties. I also support clients working through grief, loss, abandonment, attachment challenges and family dynamics- including blended family issues and family of origin work.

I am experienced in helping people navigate career transitions, financial stress, workplace challenges, and life purpose questions. I work with veterans and military families, those experiencing domestic violence, and individuals managing mood disorders, panic, and seasonal affective patterns. I also support caregivers managing stress and burnout.

My approach to therapy

  1. My approach is grounded in genuine connection and respect for each person's unique journey. I believe in meeting you where you are, listening with curiosity and compassion, and collaborating with you to build meaningful change. I draw on evidence-based practice tailored to your specific needs and values. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Cognitive behavioral therapy, (CBT). Starting therapy takes courage, and I'm honored to walk alongside you.

What you can expect from me

The first session will be an opportunity to get to know one another and being creating a comfortable, trusting, therapeutic relationship. We'll spend time learning about you, what brings you to counseling, your current concerns, and the goals you hope to achieve through therapy. As a part of the initial assessment, I'll gather information that helps me understand your experiences, strengths and needs. Together, we'll identify priorities and discuss a treatment an approach that feels appropriate and meaningful to you. You'll have an opportunity to ask questions, share what you need from your therapist, and make sure you feel comfortable with the direction we're taking. Most importantly, here is no expectation that you have everything figured out before you begin- we'll work together at a pace that feels right for you.
