Great to meet you!

You may be the person everyone depends on the professional, caregiver, parent, partner, or problem-solver who keeps everything moving. But when you’re constantly showing up for everyone else, it can become difficult to make space for yourself.

I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, relationship and family challenges, neurodivergence, grief, and major life transitions. I especially enjoy working with people balancing demanding careers, caregiving responsibilities, and complex family dynamics who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of what they need next.

I also work with professionals in healthcare, education, social services, and other helping roles who may be experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, workplace stress, or the pressure of always being the person others rely on.

With more than a decade of clinical experience, including leadership in hospital-based behavioral health, intensive community treatment, and outpatient mental health services, my approach is supportive, collaborative, and practical. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop strategies you can actually use in your daily life, and work toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional balance.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and tailored to the person in front of me. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard and supported, while also helping you understand patterns, develop new skills, and make meaningful changes in your everyday life.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing, adapting treatment to your individual needs, experiences, and goals. We may explore how past experiences influence the present, while also focusing on what can help you move forward.

I tend to be an active therapist. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, offer perspective, help you recognize patterns, and work with you to develop practical strategies you can use outside of our sessions. My goal is not to tell you how to live your life, but to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your ability to navigate challenges, and feel more confident in the choices you make.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been happening in your life, what feels most important right now, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, relationships, strengths, challenges, and relevant history, but you won’t be expected to share everything at once. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable while beginning to identify the areas you’d like to work on.

You’ll also have an opportunity to ask me questions and get a sense of whether my approach feels like a good fit for you. By the end of our first few sessions, we’ll have a clearer understanding of your goals and begin developing a plan for moving forward together.
