Great to meet you!

Hey there! I’m glad you’re here. I’m a therapist who believes that everyone deserves a space where they can be seen, supported and accepted exactly as they are.

I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Southern Methodist University in 2018. Since then and even a little before, I’ve worked in an outpatient treatment center, where I led both individual and group therapy sessions supporting clients through a wide range of challenges.

My approach to therapy is warm, humorous, affirming and nonjudgmental. Whether you’re working through something current or processing past experiences, my goal is to meet you where you are and create a space that feels safe and supportive.

I know starting therapy can feel intimidating — but it doesn’t have to be. I’m here to make the process feel approachable, collaborative and even enjoyable at times. I’d love to connect and begin this journey with you!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors to improve emotional well-being. I use CBT to support clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and substance use disorders, as well as many other areas of life that can feel overwhelming or stuck.

In our work together, we’ll explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical tools and insights that you can apply outside of sessions. My goal is to help you gain awareness, build healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change in a way that feels supportive and empowering.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and identifying what you’d like to focus on moving forward. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out — this time is about exploring at your own pace.

By the end of the session, my hope is that you’ll feel more empowered, with a greater sense of self and clarity about your goals and the path ahead. Therapy is a collaborative process, and together we’ll work toward helping you feel more grounded and confident as we move forward.
