Great to meet you!

Hi and welcome! I'm Sydney Koewler, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in helping teens and adults heal their relationship with food, body image, and themselves.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading, sewing, and spending time with my three dogs. If my approach resonates with you, I'd be honored to support you on your journey toward recovery and healing.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, collaborative, and easygoing, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable being honest, asking hard questions, and even finding moments of humor along the way. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Thereapy ( DBT) and self compassion.

I am HAES-aligned and have experience working with both adolescents and adults with eating disorders across higher levels of care. Whether you're struggling with an eating disorder, body image, anxiety, depression, or trauma, my goal is to help you build the skills, insight, and self-compassion needed to create lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. We'll discuss your goals, answer any questions you have, and begin creating a plan that feels right for you. My goal is to provide a warm, relaxed, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable moving at your own pace.
