Great to meet you!

Seeking support takes courage, and you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. I am Sylvia Botros, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor dedicated to helping individuals and couples create meaningful change and improve their overall well-being. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges, build on their strengths, and work toward their goals. I believe healing happens through a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and collaboration.

I have experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, stress, and life transitions. I hold a bachelor's degree in Human Services from California State University, Fullerton, and a master's degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each client's unique needs.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each individual's unique needs. My approach integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and insight-oriented approaches. Together, we explore challenges, build on existing strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and identify patterns that may be contributing to current concerns. My goal is to help clients gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard, supported, and respected. During our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your concerns, and identify your goals for treatment. I will take time to learn about your unique experiences, strengths, and challenges so we can develop a plan that feels meaningful and achievable. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
