Great to meet you!

I am from a rural area in Ohio. I have a master's degree in social work with primary focus on trauma, LGBTQ+, and individual and couples therapy, as well as family therapy. I have lived experience as a survivor of trauma and as part of the LGBTQ+ community. I have worked in the field of social work for over 25 years, primarily regarding trauma. I have worked with children, adults, seniors, couples, and families.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is a strength-based, person-centered approach with focus on the impact of trauma or other significant life events on current functioning. Cognitive processing is central to sessions. The client is the expert on self.

What you can expect from our first session

I listen to understand. Each client is the expert on themself, and I am there to help guide them in their healing journey. I believe in root cause and exploring thoughts, feelings, beliefs.
