Great to meet you!

My past experience was a rewarding career as an RN. Specializing in Oncology allowed me to see firsthand the deficit of mental health care being included as part of patient care as a whole. This led to my transition to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. For over a decade I have spent my LPC career specializing in trauma, abuse, and PTSD. Modes of therapy may include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, EMDR, and/or motivational interviewing. Some mental health challenges that have surfaced due to past experiences will also be addressed such as depression, anxiety, and unhealthy coping strategies. It would be an honor to assist you in moving through areas in your life that are causing hurtful cycles you are ready to put in your past. Relief is possible.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is diverse. As every person is unique, I believe in using evidence based approaches in a way that best serves the client.

What you can expect from me

Rapport building while learning about the client and their stated needs/goals. Addressing concerns and apprehensions is important along with reviewing consents and logistics regarding sessions.
