Great to meet you!

My name is Sylvia Ofori-Yeboah, and I’m so glad you’re here! I have a background in social work and have been providing therapy services since 2020 in various settings. I love helping clients recognize their strengths and use them to empower themselves and achieve their goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe that each client is the expert in their own life, and my role is to support them in discovering themselves, navigating various situations, and fostering self-love. I do this by approaching each client with curiosity, which often helps them process their experiences and reach their own conclusions. I also incorporate visuals, such as handouts, worksheets, and occasionally whiteboards, to enhance the therapeutic process

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel accepted just as they are—there's no need to wait for a future version of themselves to recognize that they are lovable, valuable, and worthy. They will also gain practical skills, including grounding and mindfulness techniques, coping strategies, self-care practices, and cognitive restructuring. During sessions, clients can expect my full attention and a collaborative approach to achieving their goals.
