Great to meet you!

My approach is direct, compassionate, culturally aware, and deeply grounded in trauma-informed care. I help clients understand not just what they are feeling, but why their mind and body respond the way they do. A lot of people come to therapy feeling exhausted from surviving, overthinking, masking, people pleasing, or functioning on autopilot. Together, we work on building emotional safety, nervous system regulation, healthier relationships, self-awareness, and practical tools that actually work in real life.

I specialize in trauma, anxiety, stress management, emotional regulation, relationship dynamics, self-esteem, life transitions, and helping high-capacity individuals who are successful externally but overwhelmed internally. My work integrates evidence-based practices, somatic awareness, attachment-focused interventions, and practical strategies that support both emotional wellness and everyday functioning.

My approach to therapy

Clients often tell me they appreciate that I balance honesty with warmth. I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods silently for 50 minutes. I’m engaged, insightful, and collaborative. I’ll challenge patterns that are no longer serving you while also helping you recognize the strengths that helped you survive in the first place. Healing is not about becoming a different person. It’s about creating enough safety within yourself to fully become who you already are

What you can expect from me

My first session is not about forcing people to tell me their deepest trauma on day one. It’s about helping clients feel safe enough to understand what’s happening internally without judgment, shame, or pressure. In our first session, clients can expect a structured but very human conversation focused on understanding patterns, nervous system responses, emotional triggers, relationships, stress, and the ways survival strategies may still be running the show.

Clients often leave the first session with:

  • A clearer understanding of why they respond the way they do
  • Language for patterns they’ve struggled to explain
  • Immediate grounding or regulation tools they can actually use
  • Greater emotional awareness without feeling pathologized
  • A beginning roadmap for healing, boundaries, relationships, stress management, or trauma recovery
  • Hope that healing can feel structured, practical, and achievable
