Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Syreeta! My passion for helping others began as a volunteer at my children's elementary school, where I realized that helping children also means supporting their families. That experience inspired me to earn a bachelor's degree in Human Services with a concentration in Mental Health and a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Since then, I've had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both hospital and private practice settings. I believe healing is possible with the right guidance, compassion, and support, and I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped to navigate life's challenges with confidence.

My approach to therapy

I use a blend of CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy to help you connect thoughts, feelings, and actions, build mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotional regulation, and explore how past experiences shape current behavior. I have supported people facing anxiety, depression, grief, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related PTSD in both public and private settings. My style is laid back and conversational, like talking with a mentor who has your best interest at heart, and our first session is a low-pressure space to share your story and begin feeling truly heard.

What you can expect from me

Therapy varies from one provider to the next. My style of therapy is laid back and resemble speaking to a mentor who has your best interest in mind. We will work to build rapport and gain trust so that you can speak freely without fear of judgement. Our first session is a low-pressure conversation. You will share what brought you in, and I

will ask a few questions to understand your goals and your story. There is nothing to prepare. By the end, you should feel heard, have a clearer picture of what our work

together will look like, and feel confident that you found the right support.
