Great to meet you!

Life can get heavy, and sometimes it feels like you’re carrying stress, anxiety, trauma, burnout, family responsibilities, or emotional overwhelm all at once. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with experience working with adolescents, adults, and families in outpatient mental health, school systems, foster care, and high-stress family environments. I work with clients navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, emotional dysregulation, relationship stress, behavioral challenges, self-esteem issues, caregiver burnout, and major life transitions.

My therapy style is warm, supportive, collaborative, and honest. I believe therapy should feel like a safe space to process emotions while also learning practical tools you can actually use outside of sessions. I use evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT-informed skills, emotional regulation strategies, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based interventions tailored to your individual needs.

I understand that healing is not one-size-fits-all. Some days may look like deep emotional processing, and other days may look like learning how to survive the week without shutting down, overthinking, or losing yourself in the process; both matter.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, strengths-based, and practical. I believe therapy should be a space where clients feel emotionally safe, genuinely heard, and supported without judgment while also gaining tools they can apply in everyday life.

I understand that emotional struggles often connect to deeper experiences, stressors, relationships, family dynamics, or life transitions, so I work to help clients increase self-awareness, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthier coping patterns. My style is warm, supportive, direct when needed, and tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals.

I utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, emotional regulation strategies, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused interventions. I work with adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, behavioral challenges, relationship stress, burnout, and emotional overwhelm.

I believe therapy is not about being perfect; it’s about learning how to understand yourself better, navigate life’s challenges more effectively, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and you do not have to come into the first session with everything figured out. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and able to be yourself without judgment.

During our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’ve been facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, whether you’re ready to dive in or unsure where to start.

My approach is warm, supportive, honest, and collaborative. I want therapy to feel like a conversation where you feel heard and gain practical tools to help you navigate life outside of sessions.
