I love working with diverse groups of people from all different walks of life. However, I specialize in working with young adults, new moms, and couples. I assist my clients with navigating difficult life transitions such as graduating school, navigating the workforce, grieving a recent relationship, marriage, new parenthood, and/or recovery from addiction or a mental health episode.
My approach to therapy comes from a humanistic perspective, where I believe you are the expert in your own life and utilizes sessions to help individuals work toward being their true self. She also helps you recognize unresolved family and relationship conflicts and how they affect your emotional well being.
You guide the pace of the therapy sessions, we can discuss what you did over the past week, what is currently stressing you out, or even what you’ve accomplished today. Therapy doesn’t always have to be able delving into the depths of your childhood experiences and painful memories, it can just be about improving your day to day interactions and perceptions in the here and now.
