Great to meet you!

I'm Tabitha — a licensed therapist, former competitive athlete, and a mom who has lived through many of the transitions my clients face. I work primarily with women and adults navigating anxiety, depression, major life changes, maternal mental health challenges, and the kind of stress that builds quietly until it isn't quiet anymore.

What makes my approach different is that I don't just help you understand your patterns — I help you actually change them. Using CBT, strengths-based work, and creative tools like art therapy, I tailor each session to what's genuinely useful for you. Therapy with me feels more like a focused, honest conversation with someone in your corner than a clinical process.

I've worked with athletes who've lost their identity after injury, new mothers in the fog of postpartum, women rebuilding after divorce or loss, and high-achievers who've hit a wall they can't push through alone. If any of that sounds like where you are — you're in the right place.

My approach to therapy

My background as an athlete taught me something about both the power of a good strategy and the importance of recovery — and I bring that same mindset to therapy. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. What works is what's built around you: your history, your strengths, your goals.

I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and strengths-based approaches, and I integrate art therapy for clients who find that talking alone doesn't fully capture what they're carrying. Sessions are collaborative — you lead on what matters, I help you build the tools to move through it. I focus on practical, lasting change, not just feeling better in the room.

What you can expect from me

The first session is low-pressure. You don't need to have a perfectly organized story of what's been happening — just come as you are. We'll spend the time talking about what brought you in, what's been most difficult, and what you're hoping to feel or do differently. I'll ask questions and you can ask me anything too.

By the end of our first session, you'll have a clearer picture of how we'd work together and whether it feels like a good fit. I'll share some initial thoughts on what I'm noticing and how I'd approach working with you. There's no obligation after that — but most clients leave that first session feeling like they can finally exhale a little.
