Great to meet you!

I am an LPC counselor who works with children and adults facing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, eating disorders, chronic illness, and life challenges. I use a holistic, individualized approach that may include talk therapy, behavioral techniques, creative arts, and activities connected to a client’s personal interests or hobbies. My goal is to meet each person where they are and support healing in a way that feels natural and meaningful to them. I have worked in the mental health community for five years and have three years of experience providing therapy.

My approach to therapy

I take time to truly get to know my clients and understand the environmental factors that may be impacting their mental health, such as family dynamics, stressors, and life experiences. I believe that understanding the whole person helps create the best possible outcomes in therapy. I use an eclectic approach, drawing from different therapeutic methods to find what works best for each individual. Treatment plans are always personalized and adjusted based on each client’s unique circumstances, needs, and goals.

What you can expect from me

During your first counseling session, you can expect a friendly and welcoming environment where it’s okay if things feel awkward at first to share our concerns. I strive to create a comforting virtual space where you can feel safe, supported, and at ease to discuss your reason for starting therapy. During the intake, we’ll spend time getting to know your background and environment while working together to outline a treatment plan that fits your needs. We’ll also talk about your interests, hobbies, likes and dislikes, and what you hope to gain from your therapy journey.
