Great to meet you!

Life's biggest transitions rarely come with a manual: becoming a parent, rebuilding after a breakup, stepping into adulthood, figuring out who you are next. I'm Tabitha, and for 10 years I've supported teens and adults through exactly these moments, including the anxiety and identity questions that come with them. I see family changes and relationship shifts not as problems to fix, but as chapters you can move through with support, and I'd like to help you write the next one.

My approach to therapy

I use a strengths based approach and believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to support you in making changes you identify, exploring how your choices align with your priorities and values, and teaching relevant tools. I incorporate mindfulness-based skills from DBT to support managing difficult emotions and CBT to explore thought patterns and determine whether they are helpful or unhelpful. I have found that reframing how difficult situations are viewed can be a powerful way to promote growth and resilience while moving forward.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know each other, no pressure to have it all figured out. We'll talk through your history, what brought you to therapy now, and what you're hoping will feel different. I'll answer any questions about my approach so you can decide if I'm the right fit. Most clients leave that first conversation feeling a little lighter and clearer about what our work together will look like.
