Great to meet you!

If you're carrying the weight of trauma, battling anxiety or depression that won't let up, or trying to heal from domestic violence, you don't have to figure it out alone. I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors, specializing in trauma, grief, and culturally responsive care. Whatever brought you here, whether it's your first time in therapy or you've tried it before, I'll meet you where you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, empowerment-focused, and grounded in respect for what you've already been through. I draw primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you build psychological flexibility, sit with difficult thoughts without being controlled by them, and take action toward the life you want. I also use CPT and Trauma-Focused CBT when those fit best.

My goal: help you recognize your strengths, process what's been heavy, and build tools that create lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know each other. We'll talk through what's bringing you to therapy right now, what's felt hard lately, and what you're hoping to build or heal. There's no pressure to share everything at once.

You'll also have space to ask questions, share what you're looking for in a therapist, and see whether working together feels like a good fit. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard and clear on what our work together could look like.
