Great to meet you!

I believe that healing happens when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where you can explore life's challenges, build on your strengths, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work and more than 11 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, helping people navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and complex systems. Before becoming a social worker, I spent several years as a grassroots community organizer, advocating alongside individuals and communities to address systemic barriers and promote social change. That experience continues to shape my belief that every person's story is influenced by both their personal experiences and the larger systems around them.

My approach is compassionate, culturally responsive, and strengths-based. I recognize that seeking therapy is a courageous step, and I strive to create a space where you can show up as your authentic self without judgment. Together, we'll identify your goals, build practical tools, and work toward the life you want to create.

Whether you're navigating a difficult season, processing past experiences, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I would be honored to support you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

Rather than seeing you as a diagnosis or a set of symptoms, I strive to understand your whole story, your relationships, culture, lived experiences, strengths, and the environments that have shaped you.

My work is rooted in a strengths-based and person-in-environment perspective, recognizing that each person already possesses resilience and wisdom. Together, we'll build on those strengths and protective factors while exploring patterns, barriers, and opportunities for growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, clients can expect a welcoming, collaborative, and judgment-free space where we begin getting to know one another and identifying what brings you to therapy. I see the first session as the start of a partnership, not a one-sided process. My role is to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help us identify goals that feel meaningful and relevant to your life.

We will explore your current concerns, strengths, relationships, and the experiences that have shaped you. Together, we will begin developing a plan that honors your individual needs, values, and goals.

The environment we create in therapy is built together. I believe the most effective healing space is one where you feel safe enough to be authentic and empowered enough to have a voice in the process. I welcome feedback about what feels helpful and what adjustments we can make along the way.

Depending on your goals, our work may focus on coping strategies, self-awareness, processing difficult experiences, strengthening relationships, or creating meaningful change in your life. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of yourself and your next steps.
