My work is rooted in a compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based approach. I draw from multiple therapeutic modalities to best meet the unique needs of each client and couple I work with.
At the core of my practice is Attachment-Focused Psychotherapy, which emphasizes the importance of relationships, emotional safety, and secure connection as the foundation for healing and growth. I integrate this perspective with Client-Centered Therapy, creating a supportive environment where clients feel seen, acknowledged, respected, and empowered to direct their own healing process.
I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address and resolve the lingering effects of trauma and distressing experiences. For couples work, I utilize the Gottman Method, focusing on improving communication, building trust, and strengthening emotional intimacy.
I am deeply committed to ongoing learning and professional development. I regularly research topics that arise in my work to ensure that my practice remains current, relevant, and responsive to my clients’ needs. I also engage in continuing education and specialized training to deepen my clinical expertise. Recently, I have expanded my knowledge in DBT, EMDR, Gottman Couples Counseling, and Depression within Family Systems, all of which enhance the quality and depth of care I provide.
Together, these approaches allow me to offer therapy that is both insight-oriented and skills-based, helping clients heal from the past, navigate the present, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
