Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over five years of clinical experience and more than a decade in behavioral health, I bring a deep commitment to humanizing the therapeutic journey. I earned my master’s degree from the University of Texas at Tyler and have since served clients in a variety of settings, from emergency departments to school-based programs, gaining a nuanced appreciation for the diverse paths people travel toward healing.

My approach to therapy

My counseling philosophy is rooted in existential and Choice Theory: I believe every person has the freedom and responsibility to shape their own narrative, even in the face of life’s uncertainties. In practice, I weave together:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to build emotional regulation and distress tolerance

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy strategies to amplify your strengths and fast-track meaningful change

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to use evidence-based approaches as I strive to create a therapy experience that is both relatable and action-oriented. My role is to walk alongside you, validating your struggles, honoring your agency, and equipping you with practical tools so you can uncover new meaning, build resilience, and move toward the life you envision. Throughout the process and journey, I can make this promise: I am “here for you and here for good.”
