Dr. Tahirih Moffett is a licensed clinical psychologist who brings an affirmative, warm, relational, and compassionately-challenging style to her work. She has interest and experience working with adult clients from many different backgrounds and identities in university counseling centers and outpatient mental health settings.


Dr. Moffett earned her doctorate in clinical psychology (PsyD). She also has a background in nursing and training in social work as well.

My approach to therapy

Dr. Moffett acknowledges that life can be really hard and we get stuck in unhelpful cycles and patterns. She empowers her clients to better manage challenges of life in ways that are sustainable.


Dr. Moffett has training in psychodynamic therapy (how the past impacts the present). She also uses a lot of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in her work with clients as well.
