Great to meet you!

Most people come to therapy because they want something to stop; intrusive thoughts, depression, anxiety, pain, and so on. What is it that you want to be different in your life? Victor Frankel says: “When we are no longer able to change a situation- we are challenged to change ourselves.” What do we need to do together to enhance mental wellness? What does it look like for you if by some miracle life was to become much more tolerable? What would have to happen?

My approach to therapy

What are you best hopes for psychotherapy? Relating to self, others and life are all important aspects of mental wellness. Psychological research says there are things we can do day to day which are helpful our overall well being.

What you can expect from me

Humanistic Psychotherapy founded by Carl Rogers stated the importance of unconditional positive regard; a therapist being able to unconditionally accept their clients as they are. Very important! Today one of the key aspects for successful therapy is for a client to be able to accept themselves as they are while working towards positive change.
