Great to meet you!

Congratulations! Thank you for taking the first few steps on starting the journey of self-discovery. As a team, I look forward to supporting you in increasing your self-awareness and finding new ways of coping. I specialize in working with individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I encourage collaboration, client-centered, and seek for you to see change after every therapeutic session. I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals. I welcome you to reach out whenever you feel ready to begin. I’m here to provide a safe and supportive environment.

My approach to therapy

My engagement style incorporates motivational interviewing techniques. MI seeks to create an environment which is empathetic, supports clarity in understanding vulnerability, and builds trust and rapport. I take on a multitude of interventions based on clients' needs, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative, trauma-informed, grief and loss, psychoeducation, solution-focused, mindfulness, and provide referrals for medication management as needed. Your goals and progress are my primary focus. I use scaling questions to document emotional well-being pre- and post-session to assess response to intervention. Together, we’ll identify challenges and work on strategies to help you move forward with confidence.

What you can expect from me

Have you been struggling with childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, or issues with sustaining healthy relationships? Are you ready to do the work? I have spent a large part of my career supporting individuals to unlock and explore self to decrease cognitive distortions and poor coping skills. I want to work with you on creating a plan for growth that feels empowering and achievable. Let's get started.

Together, we’ll identify frequency of treatment, goals, objectives, modality, and discuss past progress, setbacks, and current focus. During treatment, we will reassess and continually titrate and/or decrease engagement needs. I’m here to provide you with the support and tools you need to continue to move closer to where you want to be, even when things feel challenging.
