Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m glad you’re here. If you’ve been carrying stress in silence, struggling with self-doubt, navigating painful relationship patterns, or feeling the weight of expectations from family, culture, or life transitions, you don’t have to hold it alone. As a Caribbean-American therapist, I’m passionate about creating a safe, culturally affirming space where you can show up fully and feel understood without judgment. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, self-worth, boundaries, and emotional overwhelm. My hope is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to yourself, while creating space for healing that honors both your story and where you want to go.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you because healing is never one-size-fits-all. I draw from an eclectic approach and meet you where you are, helping you move through challenges with support, insight, and practical tools. Whether we’re working through anxiety, life transitions, relationship struggles, cultural experiences, emotion regulation, or building healthier boundaries, our work is centered on helping you thrive, not just cope. I believe therapy should feel empowering and real — a space where you can better understand yourself, unlearn old patterns, and build a stronger relationship with who you are.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to breathe, settle in, and begin getting to know each other. Think of it as a supportive conversation, not a test you have to get right. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what support you’re looking for, and what healing could look like for you. You’re welcome to ask questions, share concerns, and move at your own pace. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, seen, and hopeful leaving that first session, with a clearer sense of whether we’re a good fit and what our work together can look like.

Starting therapy takes courage, especially when you’ve been carrying things on your own for a long time. You don’t have to have it all figured out before you begin. If you’re looking for a warm, affirming space to heal, grow, and reconnect with yourself, I’d be honored to support you.
