Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dr. Taiesha Wooten, a licensed therapist, leader, and founder of TAI Wellness & Consulting, LLC. I specialize in helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, whether that’s stress, relationships, substance use, or simply feeling stuck.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up fully as yourself; no judgment, no pressure, just real conversations and real growth. My approach is down-to-earth, supportive, and honest, while still being grounded in evidence-based practices. I incorporate techniques from CBT and Motivational Interviewing to help clients understand patterns, build coping skills, and make lasting changes. I focus on meeting clients where they are while supporting growth and resilience.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we begin building rapport and discussing what brought them to therapy. We’ll explore goals, identify areas of focus, and create a plan that aligns with their needs. My goal is to help clients feel heard, understood, and empowered from the start.
