Great to meet you!

Depression, anxiety, and trauma don't always respond to standard treatments and if you're here, there's a good chance you've tried an approach that hasn't worked. I'm a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 14 years of clinical experience, and my practice is built specifically around patients who need more than a first-line approach. I trained at UCLA & UCSF, and before specializing in psychiatry, I spent years working in critical care which taught me to read the body's systems as interconnected, not siloed. I bring that same lens to psychiatric care with emphasis on the mind/body as one.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative, meaning I incorporate conventional treatments (prescription medication and psychotherapy) with alternative treatments (evidence-based supplements and lifestyle modifications). I also work on FDA-approved psychedelic clinical research trials, where I work with some of the most promising emerging treatments for depression, anxiety, and trauma that haven't responded to conventional care. Although psychedelic treatments are not FDA-approved at this time, my work and knowledge in the field gives me an understanding of potential future applications.

What you can expect from me

Medication has a real role in promoting mental wellness, but it's not the answer for everyone. We'll look at the evidence together and build a plan around what's actually driving your symptoms, not just what's easiest to prescribe. You are the expert on your body and together, we will determine the best treatment approach for you.
