My name is Taja Conover and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor.

I hold a Master’s Degree in mental health counseling and certifications in the following areas:

I have worked with various populations and have a diverse background including people with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, multicultural and relationship problems.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic and person-centered, where the client is the expert into their own lives. My goal is to provide nonjudgmental empathetic support and walk with each client on their journey. To achieve this, I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques as a way of tailoring my approach to the individual, however a therapeutic relationship is key.

My goal for sessions is to create a safe space where I can support clients in meeting their goals. My focus is in helping clients gain new insights, learn new skills, and achieve a sense of wellness, balance, a stronger sense of identity and greater self-efficacy.
