Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families in school, community, and clinical settings. As a Black woman and therapist, I understand how identity, culture, family expectations, and lived experiences can shape the way we move through the world. I work with individuals who often feel like they're carrying more than everyone realizes—women who are constantly juggling responsibilities, professionals struggling to keep up with competing demands, and people whose minds never seem to shut off. You may find yourself overthinking conversations, replaying the day when you're trying to sleep, having anxiety-driven dreams, feeling mentally exhausted, or wondering why you're working so hard but still not feeling at peace.

My approach to therapy

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to do everything at once. They may struggle with organization, procrastination, executive functioning challenges, ADHD symptoms, or feeling stuck between knowing what needs to be done and actually being able to start. Others are navigating anxiety, self-doubt, cultural stressors, relationship challenges, or the emotional toll of always being the strong one for everyone else. Together, we focus on understanding the patterns contributing to stress and overwhelm while building practical strategies that support emotional wellness, daily functioning, and an improved quality of life. My approach is culturally responsive, collaborative, and grounded in helping you better understand yourself without judgment.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a space where you can show up fully and honestly without feeling like you have to explain or minimize your experiences. In our first session, we'll talk about what has been weighing on you, what you're hoping will feel different, and what may be getting in the way of the life you want to build. My goal is not only to help you manage symptoms but to help you improve your overall quality of life—so you can feel more present, more organized, more rested, and more connected to yourself and the people who matter most.
