Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 15 years of experience supporting adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families through emotional and relationship challenges. I specialize in working with clients experiencing trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, and difficult life transitions. I understand that each person brings their own experiences, relationships, and cultural background into therapy, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel understood and respected. I’m fluent in English, Farsi, Armenian, and Assyrian and have experience working with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and neurofeedback to help address both the challenges you’re experiencing today and the underlying experiences that may be contributing to them. Together, we’ll identify patterns, build skills, and work toward greater emotional well-being and meaningful change. For clients working through trauma, I may incorporate EMDR or neurofeedback to help process difficult experiences, improve emotional regulation, and support the healing process.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you and better understand what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about the challenges you’re experiencing, important parts of your history, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll also take time to understand your individual needs and begin identifying an approach that feels right for you. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and comfortable as we begin developing a path forward together.
