Great to meet you!

I am a licensed certified social worker in the state of MD with over 15 years of professional work experience. I believe that you are the expert about what's best for you, and that you have strengths that will help you figure out how to make those changes in your life. I am here to support, empower and make you feel heard every step of the way, through out that journey. I enjoy working with individuals or couples to work through infidelity or communication issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Using humor and gentle, awareness raising assertiveness to challenge clients to accept what they cannot control, but find ways to change those things within their control. We work together to help you problem solve and find ways to manage their stress, anxiety, low motivation; in making challenging existential decisions, and in to reduce feelings of overwhelm or burnt out. We find your strengths and work to strengthen those, while finding new solutions to take action to make changes.

What you can expect from our first session

You can plan on leaving our sessions feeling empowered and ready to take action. You will feel heard and will feel prepared with a plan to manage whatever is causing you discomfort the next time you experience whatever you can expect.
