Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am Dr. Talia Rapel. I completed my doctoral degree from The California School of Professional Psychology, and I interned at San Bernardino County's Department of Behavioral Health, where I worked in both forensic and outpatient tracks. I specialize in relationship difficulties, depression, and anxiety.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational and attachment-focused. I believe that the person we are today is largely influenced by significant relationships and life experiences. Our time together will focus on helping you work through patterns of behavior of which you may not be consciously aware. By creating a strong therapeutic bond and a warm, compassionate environment, I can help you explore your life's story and address barriers to your mental and emotional wellness.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal is to help you gain a deeper awareness and understanding of yourself. I will stand with you in our sessions, and hold a safe space for you to explore yourself and your world. Our work together will utilize the transformative power of speaking openly and freely to a welcoming and nonjudgmental listener. I will listen carefully and invite you to hear yourself in new ways, which will allow space for healing, insight, and growth.
